General Terms and Conditions
- All investments and pricings shall be in accordance with the Capital Markets (Collective Investment Schemes) Regulations, 2001
- Returns on investments made may go up and down as well and no rate of return is guaranteed.
- Completed application forms and notification of deposits/cleared funds must be received for the investment to be executed. Subscriptions monies in cleared funds received will be dealt with within three working days.
- The investor and/or his/her financial advisor shall at all times be responsible for ensuring that Cytonn Education Investment Plan and its representatives receive any instructions from the investor and/or financial advisor, whether by facsimile or mail and that such instructions are complete and correct in all respects.
- No third-party cheques are allowed. Payments made by a third party on behalf of an investor will need to be supported by further documentation.
- Once an account has been opened, a statement of investment will be sent by post or e-mail to the investor on a monthly basis.
- All transaction charges on purchasing securities shall be borne by the Fund and not the Fund Manager.
- The minimum investment amount at any given time is Kshs 1,000.
- Any Unit Holder may redeem their units after the expiry of the holding period, which period is two (2) years after the date of investing in the Cytonn Education Investment Plan and after receipt of a Business Confirmation. In the event of an early withdrawal, before the holding period is over, the client shall forfeit the interest earned.
- By signing the e-mail Indemnity at herein, the Applicant understands that the Cytonn Education Investment Plan and its representatives shall be entitled to treat such email notice, demand or other communication by email as fully authorized by and binding upon the Applicant(s) and the Cytonn Education Investment Plan and its representatives.
- Neither Party to this Agreement will be liable for any delay or default in the performance of its respective obligations under these Terms if such delay or default is caused by a Force Majeure event, epidemic, pandemic, Government action or any unforeseeable event not within the Parties’ control as long as such action or restraint is not the result of a failure by the claiming Party to comply with Applicable Law.
